Hello Neighbour,
The east end is my home, and I care deeply about our community. I’ve had a strong record of local leadership for years, in many different roles. I am currently the Chair of the Friends of the Library, a volunteer group that holds those popular book sales to support library programs, and I am member of the Bond Head Women’s Institute, a group of talented women who value our town’s heritage while contributing to local causes. I know how to get things done, and I understand our neighbourhoods because this is my home, too. I have served as Chair of the Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library Board, President of the Bradford Board of Trade and supported a wide range of local initiatives, including food bank fundraising, and along with my running my own PR firm, I work as a senior advisor to our local Member of Parliament. My most important role is mum to twins and I spend many a summer evening driving them to soccer practice.
“There’s so much happening in Ward 2, and I’m looking forward to talking with you about how we continue to move things forward.” -Jennifer
